Safe in Operation
The two-handed operation with handguards prevents the possibility of the operator’s hands being pinched by the splitter. As soon as a switch is released, the splitter returns to its start position.
Mitox horizontal log splitters can accept logs up to 520mm in length, and vertical splitters up to 1040mm. However, when working with shorter logs, Quicksplit saves time by allowing adjustment of the pushblock start position, for a faster stroke.
Adjustable Table Height
All vertical log splitter models feature a 3-position log table for splitting logs up to 1040mm in length.
The Mitox Multisplit 4-way splitting wedge reduces the biggest woodpile to perfectly sized firewood in a single stroke, saving time over having to split the same log multiple times.

How long is the cable fitted to the LS700 log splitter?
The electric cable is 5 metres long and fitted with a UK 3-pin plug.
The hydraulic oil in the log splitter is low. What type of oil should I add?
You should use HLP 22 Hydraulic Oil to top up the oil level. The oil should also be replaced after every 150 hours of use to ensure optimum operation of the log splitter.
Can the splitting wedge on the log splitter be sharpened if it becomes blunt?
The splitting wedge is specially treated for a long working life. If after a long period of time the wedge does become blunt, use a fine toothed file to remove any flat spots.
How should the electric log splitter be stored?
Ensure that the log splitter is clean and dry when stored.
